OFNS Consortium


Open Fiber Network Solutions is the Consortium comprising Amplia Infrastructures, Open Fiber and CIEL, with the aim of accelerating the digitalisation of road and network infrastructures through the realisation of smart cities initiatives.
A further step forward in pursuing the objectives such as the digital transition and the definition of the mobility of the future.
The Consortium hopes to train and hire new professionals for the realisation of the ultra-fast optical fibre network. The work, which began in June 2022, has seen the involvement of about 1,000 people.

This new partnership is part of the Mercury programme, which involves the other four subsidiaries of the Autostrade Group, in addition to Amplia: Tecne, Movyon, Free To X and Elgea.
